There’s no word on a cause of death yet, but long time moonshiner Marvin “Popcorn” Sutton died today. Here’s a local story.
As I’m writing this, I noticed that WATE.com is reporting that it’s an apparent suicide.
It’s ridiculous that we even spent tax dollars chasing him, and I for one am glad that he he didn’t do additional jail time for being a bit eccentric. I mean, who cares if he made his living by making shine? Did he hurt you? That’s what I thought. Now shut up and crawl back under your rock.
