Let me get this out of the way – I see that global warming is occurring, but I don’t know if humans are causing it or if it’s part of a natural cycle. And I don’t have enough hard facts to even attempt to predict what the climate will be like 100 years from now. When forecasters can get it right 10 days out, maybe I’ll put more faith in their models and predictions for the next century.
Do we impact the global climate? The current evidence says yes. Will the average global temperature be higher 100 years from now – because of human activity? Possibly. I don’t think the government should dictate allowable carbon emission levels (and other greenhouse gas emissions) based on the evidence we have today. That being said, I think this guy (the Junk Science guy) is driven by a political agenda instead of the facts – as are many (most?) on the other side of the issue. But the article is a good read.
